workflow status

I just transferred (800+ nodes) a Wordpress site to Prosepoint using the Wordpress_import module.
But after the import placed each note with workflow=Draft (sid=2). I tried with update workflow_node and workflow_node_history with sid=4 .. but that didnt help me. The articles still not accessible to Public!! Where else I need to loook at for this?

I also need the imported nodes to put into an edition
---- nodes created in January will be under edition name Janaury
---- I will have just one placeholder channel for now .. adding all editions under one channel.
Any suggestions, please?
It would be great If this module -- http://drupal.org/project/wordpress_import -- can be patched for Prose point !!
