We are pleased to announce the launch of The Vienna Review (http://www.viennareview.net), the monthly English-language newspaper in Vienna, Austria.
The Vienna Review is a product of the Vienna Journalism Institute of Webster Unversity. It is a non-profit foundation intended to showcase student and local journalism, with a focus on Austria/EU and well as International, Cultural and other topics.

Hello JWM,
Thanks for your comments. While The Vienna Review is indeed non-profit, because of its largely educational background (staffed mostly by students in the journalism program at Webster University), it certainly does advertising -- and we would be pleased to consider any ideas you may have about offsetting some of our costs.
We have some semi-professional staff who need to be paid something, yet as you may know there are real issues with monetization in today's advertising climate.

first - I just checked out your site and it's really excellent!
Q: I don't see any online banner ads or any other form of advertising on your site (except for the subscription ad). I am kind of surprised since it looks like it's a for-profit newspaper you are publishing.
