Installation doesnot continue after 'Database configuration'

Hi all,

I am unable to continue installation after the  'Database configuration' page. I have specified the right database  name and user details.  It doesnot show any error messages it doesnot go further.

When I specify a wrong database or user detail its showing up the related error

I feel its trying to install the prosepoint profile the url is http://localhost/prose/install.php?profile=prosepoint. I am using wamp and its php 5+. Please let me know whether I have to change any PHP settings. I have drupal 5,6 versions successfully on this wamp installation.

I am having the same problem...

Hi Beng: 

I sure want to make this work.... and am having the same problem as described above.

I just loaded Drupal 6.12 and went through the install process with the same database... and it worked.

Any ideas why the prosepoint configuration isn't?

Hi,

Checking the php logs depends on your platform. Different setups place the log in a different location. Downloading 0.22 won't change anything.

Also, you are running PHP 5 or greater, yes?

Yes, the database is 5.2.6.

You can find the info at http://www.hctv.us/info.php.

I had a bit of trouble the other day loading this, and reloaded the entire 0.21 a second time and got farther down the stream.

I get to the Database configuration page in the install.php and fill in the info and the page reloads and then shows back up with empty fields on the same page.

I am doing another round of

I am doing another round of set up with 0.21 and may have gotten past the previous database issue... I am going to continue with the install and the I will report to you what I did this time.
