I have tried using my very limited experience to upload Prosepoint to my server. After many hours of trial and error I am unable to do so. In the user guide section you wrote "If any of the following doesn't make sense to you, please don't try it. Get someone else to do it for you."

My question is where can I find someone to install the program.

Thank you for your help.

Where did you get up to?

Hi,

Where did you get up to? Perhaps it's a simple thing that we can diagnose and avoid?

Or as a really really last resort, I could install it for you for a fee, but I think it'd be easier if you had a friend or acquaintance knowledgeable enough to do it.

You can contact me privately through the Contact form if needed.

I have extracted the files

I have extracted the files (using Stuffit Expander) and uploaded them to the server (FireFTP) and created the database. The files are sitting in a flolder on my hosts server, but of all the things I've tried I can not open Prosepoint.

I am a novice and unfortunally my friends are not programming savvy. (I guess I need to hang with a better crowd) We are more skilled on the content side, writers and such. We really like the way Prosepoint looks and are very excited at the prospect of using it.

Thank you for your quick respone, we appreciate it very much.

Do you mean you can't access the files in your uploaded folder when you try to view them from your web browser? If this is the case, then you can check with your hosting provider whether the files are in the correct folder.

I can access the files and

I can access the files and view them on the server. I called my hosting service (Ipower) tech support but they were unable to help me or give me any useful advice.

The file is in is home/public_html/mydomainname

This is the same place that I had Drupal installed earlier. I like the way Prosepoint looks and the features that it has so I removed Drupal for Prosepoint. Drupal was installed by the hosting service so, unfortunately I didn't learn the nuts and bolts of the installation.

Again, thank you for your patience and help.

She is a web designer from Virginia. She appears to be legitimate.

In reference to my original post, my hosting service makes no promise that Prosepoint will work on their server. So, unfortunately I'll have to find another host.
