Views with channel editions

Is there a way to select the stories within an edition by a views 2 definition?

Not easily, maybe not possible at the moment.

Hi,

At the moment, I don't think it would be easy to do so, if at all. Ideally, a Views filter should be written which can pick out stories by whether they are listed in an edition.

When I have a lot of stories

When I have a lot of stories, this gets cumbersome to pick them out manually.  I'd prefer a token pattern.   Are you using a node reference here?

The edition type is using a nodereference field with the autocomplete textfield widget, yes.

From reading your previous comment, I think I have misunderstood your first one. You are asking whether it's possible for an ediiton to automatically select its own stories to display, possibly by using a View, is that the case?
