Blocking new user registrations using an email address from gmail.com

We are blocking new user registrations using an email address from gmail.com.

We have suddenly had a lot of spam from accounts using that domain name.

If you are a legitimate user and need to use a gmail.com email to register an account, please contact us through the contact form and we'll arrange something.

Apologies for the inconvenience. I only wish there was a way to handle this without causing trouble for legitimate users.
