Hi:

I am no sure if this has been covered or not and if it has I apologize.

I have tried updating the tinymce, so that the "Paste into Word", "Paste as Plain Text" and "ProsePoint Image Insert" could work with IE9. The popups do work, but when it comes to the image, the image tag becomes this:

<div title="Day Before Launch" align="left">

<div class="caption alignleft" style="width: 306px;"><a title="Day Before Launch" href="/pp037/image/day-launch"><img style="margin: 3px;" title="Day Before Launch" src="/pp037/sites/default/files/imagecache/medium/STS_114_day_before_launch.jpg" alt="Day Before Launch" width="300" height="200" /></a>

<p class="caption">This photo is from http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:STS_114_day_before_launch.jpg, courtesy of NASA, republished here from the public domain.</p>

</div></div>

It changes the pp_img tag in IE9, Firefox, Chrome. I have also, tried a vanilla version of pp038 and it does the same thing. Is this a limitation of the new release of tinymce?  If anyone has experienced this, any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Under normal operation, that html snippet is what the <pp_img> tag gets converted into/from when the tinymce editor loads and unloads.

I think the problem you've described is likely to have been triggered by the new version of tinymce because tinymce may have changed or renamed some of its javascript apis. Looks like the conversion from the html snippet back into a <pp_img> tag isn't taking place.

Hi: Thank you for your reply.

Hi:

Thank you for your reply. Any recommendations? Or just use the previous version.

Hi,

I'd suggest use the previous (existing) version for now (unless you want to dig into javascript code and debug it). Tinymce has a habit of changing (ie. breaking) api compatibility between point versions so there might be other things broken too.

Hi,

ProsePoint 0.40 has just been released with an updated tinymce. You might want to give it a try.
