Hi there,

On my front page I am displaying an edition which has a break down of content for the whole site. Certain content is of more importance and thus should be more visible or presented differently. One of the diferences I had in mind was varying teaser image sizes. Unfortunately haven't managed to figure out how I can have my channels display different sized teaser images i.e. the channel or sub-channel for "front page news" has a bigger teaser image than "other news".

Any ideas on how I might go about this?

Because the teaser image size

Because the teaser image size is set for the content type "story" and because channel isn't a content type the only way I can imagine doing this is through css. The problem with css is it isn't actually resizing the images in terms of size its just a visual effect which presumable would mean longer loading times for pages with many images.

I was wondering if I could use fusion as a base theme and somehow create a teaser image drop down for channel blocks, any suggestions would be very welcome.

Hi,

Unfortunately, such a feature as you've described is most likely going to require some custom development, whether through a module or through a specialised theme. With custom development, there are so many possible permutations and methods that it's hard to make any generic but still useful comments. It really does depend on how the developer chooses to implement it.
