Hi all,

We are having a forum on our site under: http://viennareview.net/forum.
However there is a link in the menu bar, also for non-registered visitors. Is there a way to put this link away temporarely, because we want to firstly test the forum before putting it into public.

Thanks for the help
Oliver

You can disable menu items, but that doesn't disable the page

You can disable menu items, but that doesn't disable the page that the menu item links to ie. .../forum is still accessible on your site even though there may not be a menu link to it.

To disable menu items, visit .../admin/build/menu, click on the menu of interest.

Then find your forum menu item, uncheck the Enabled box, and click on Save configuration.

Let me know if this doesn't address your issue, in case I have misunderstood it.

Thanks, that worked, I didn't want to disable the page itself just the menu entry. All is fine now
