Hello - I am looking for a new feature that would enable you to schedule a block to show up during certain times. I have attempted this with PHP, but have not been successful.

Here is the situation. We have a show that airs M-F from 5:30-6 PM. I would like a block to appear that says "STREAMING LIVE: NEWS AT 5:30" with a link. This would show up around 5:29 and disappear around 5:59.

Is something like this possible either currently or in a future release?

Thanks

Hi,

Hmmm... this is currently not possible with ProsePoint, and since it's quite specialised, I don't think I'll be adding it anytime soon.

Maybe I can help you a bit ...

Did you try using PHP to schedule when the block appears, or to schedule when there is visible content in the block? If you tried the former, then please try the latter as it is probably more suitable. If a block contains zero content, then it does not get displayed.

Or if you'd rather just have something that works instead of trying to do it yourself, I could do a site customisation for you.
