Hi Everyone:

I really like Prose Point, but I'm new to Drupal and I have limited php knowledge.

Here's where I'm at:

Using simple scripts on Blue Host installed Drupal

Downloaded Prose Point and put the sub directories in what I assume are the correct spots, ie... put themes in themes directory, modules in modules directory, etc...

Now I'm stuck, how should I proceed?  I'm fine with paying for one of the Prose Point themes but I'm mostly concerned with the backend stuff and making the administration menu look and function like the demo site.

Any help would be much appreciated and thank you in advance.  I'm really excited and can't wait to get started!

Hi,

Actually, if you've managed to install ProsePoint and now you know how the installation process goes, I'd suggest you uninstall your site and redo the installation from scratch yourself.

While using installation scripts provided by your hosting provider gives you a headstart, it can cause you problems later on when you need to upgrade.

See http://drupal.org/forum/fantastico-de-luxe for an example of this. There are probably other examples as well if you search the Net.
