I am currently building a test site in ProsePoint in order to find and fix potential problems, as I'm hoping to be able to use ProsePoint to build the new website for the newspaper where I work.

Our photos are published with a credit line and a cutline (caption), so using the embedded image option in ProsePoint won't do -- there's no place for the credit line, and there's no way to format the caption (we have a bold "kicker" that leads off the caption; after the kicker, the rest of the caption is in normal text).

I was able to add a new field of "credit" to the Story content type; "credit" is a node reference so each photographer can have his/her own node. I also added a "cutline" field to the Story content type; however, it is not appearing in the form to create or edit a story (see attached screenshots).

Also, to keep the photo, credit, and (missing) cutline together, I created a Photo group. For the photo to float within the text (using CSS), the photo group has to come before the body. However, when I moved the photo group within the Story content type to be above the body, it ended up, in the form, between the heading and the text box for the body (see attached screenshots).

I'd appreciate any help in fixing these problems ASAP. Thanks!

Major bug!

Okay, I finally figured out that I caused the weird alignment problem with the Photo group in the "Create Story" form because I didn't restrict the "float" for the CSS for the Photo group to the Story node. So I fixed that problem.

But I have discovered that I cannot add a text-area field to ANY content type. I even tried creating a new content type and adding the cutline text-area field to it; the field didn't show up in the "Create" form.

Any ideas about what may be causing this problem or how to fix it?

My fault ...
It just occurred to me that I have CCK permissions turned on; I had to give myself permission to see the new field. Lesson learned!
