Hi!

When a story is added to a edition, the story is added to that edition channel, that's ok.  But, the story looses all other previous channels.

For exemple, if a story is set to channel-organizationX and is added to edition of channel-regionA, the story channel is set to channel-regionA and looses channel-organizationX  and is no more displayed on it's original channel. Is that a bug?

Thx.

Hi,

I'll have to test this and see what behaviour I get.

If assigning a story to an edition causes it to lose existing 'channels', then it's incorrect behaviour and I'll get it fixed.

Let me get back to you on this.

hierarchy

If the channel hierarchy his:

TermA-Level-1

  • TermA-Level-2

TermB-Level-1

  • TermB-Level-2

The story was on TermA-Level-2 and added on edition of TermB-Level-1. The only channel left on the story was TermB-Level-1.

Thx.

Hi,

I tried duplicating this on a vanilla test site but was unsuccessful.

A story node in a second level channel was added to an edition (in the Headlines field) belonging to a different second level channel. Upon saving the edition, the story node was in both second level channels. This is the correct and intended behaviour.

Tested on the latest ProsePoint 0.29.

So, the question now is ... are there any other taxonomy related modules on your site which I don't know about which may cause this?

I presume you can reproduce this issue easily?

Also, do you get the 'Automatically adding story ... to channel ...' message upon saving the edition?
