Migration of support area from Launchpad Answers to ProsePoint forums

Since the early beginnings of ProsePoint, we've been using Launchpad Answers as a place for people to ask questions and receive general support. At the time, we were fully concentrated on getting ProsePoint to a usable state, and Launchpad Answers was a ready-made solution, so we gave it a try. It was worked fairly well, but we have since found that ... how shall we say it ... Answers was a bit limiting.

Launchpad Answers did exactly what it was supposed to: provide a place for asking questions and receiving answers. However, it didn't seem to promote discussion very much. It just didn't have that sort of community feel to it.

In the early days of ProsePoint, that was fine. There were other more pressing things to deal with. Now, however, perhaps we have outgrown it.

ProsePoint is sufficiently stable that we are now turning some attention to community building. We needed an outlet for people to express themselves about ProsePoint, whether they are seeking help or just want to discuss things. Hence, we have added forums to the ProsePoint website to facilitate this.

Since we might as well also use the forums for providing support (and in the interests of reducing duplication), we have decided to shift the focus of support from Launchpad Answers to the ProsePoint forums.

All users are encouraged to post all new queries to the forums.

We won't close down Launchpad Answers immediately or anytime soon. There is valuable information and knowledge there we don't want to have to rewrite, so it will remain up and accessible for some time. We will still be listening in case anyone posts anything to Launchpad Answers, and will still respond to existing threads there, but we'd much rather discussions take place on the ProsePoint forums.

Please help us make this transition. Thank you.

(On a related note, we will still be using Launchpad for tracking bugs. That is unchanged.)
