Other nodetypes than Story on frontpage

Normally, on the frontpage of Prosepoint there is an edition. If I try to edit the items in the latest edition I can only add items of the nodetype Story.

Is it possible to add other nodetypes to? What should I do to accomplish this?

Sorry, this is by design. The Headlines and Other Stories fields of edition nodes are meant to only reference story nodes.

For your second post, you have displayed a non-story node using Composite Layout which is a different mechanism. The layout does not look good because it hasn't been themed properly.
