News Feeds and other newbie Q's

Tried setting up news feeds and kept getting an error of "illegal url" cannot be passed or something to that effect.

What I did, I went to news.Google.com, typed in my search and the resultant URL was what I pasted into the module.

Am searching for Soccer News, World Cup, Denver.

Any guidance would be appreciated...
