instalation issue

Hi

I'm trying to install prosepoint and each time I setup the database, user and pass and press continue, the page loads to the same page.
port 8888 is enable at apache 2, i'm using php 4.3.9 and the OS is RHL4.
Does prosepoint needs drupal installed to work, or this issue could be related with something else?
