Went looking for the "Containers" tab by going ... as recommended by Drupal handbook

Administration > Forums ... but find no tab. 

Is there something I haven't turned on?

ProsePoint doesn't enable the Forum module

Most probably. ProsePoint doesn't enable the Forum module from Drupal core (although it is included). You'll have to enable that yourself at .../admin/build/modules.

Forum enabled ... but no "Container" tab

Hi Beng,

I had the Forum module activated, so I find the Forum page fine, but I don't find a "Container" tab.

Ah, okay. You probably need

Ah, okay.

You probably need to create a container first. Go to .../admin/content/forum/list and then try Add container.

That's presuming I haven't misunderstood what you're trying to do.

A container is exactly like a

A container is exactly like a forum except you can't post topics into it. It's designed to help in arranging your forum hierarchy. For example, on this site, General and Support and Technical are containers.
