Hi There...

I am trying to create a new Source, which I used to find under "create content", but it no longer seems to live there with the last update of ProsePoint.  We have created several in the past, and only recently have I discovered that I no longer have that option.  Is there another place where I can find this?

Any insight would be great.

Thank you!

Hi, You could try going

Hi,

You could try going directly to the url .../node/add/source. If that directs you back to 'Create content' or some page other than what you want, then there is definitely something wrong.

Can I ask, what version of ProsePoint did you have previously, and what version of ProsePoint did you upgrade to? If the source content type disappears through what should be a routine upgrade, then it's a serious problem and I have to look into it.

Also, do you have any other non-ProsePoint (ie. Drupal) modules enabled on your site?

Hi There...

We tried going to the url (node/add/source) and got directed to the Create Content Page...so something must be wrong there...

We upgraded from .14 to .16 .

The only non-prosepoint module that we are running is Google Analytics.

I've just tested a 0.14 to 0.16 upgrade of ProsePoint (without any other non-ProsePoint modules). Everything happened as expected, the 'Create Source' page is still present.

I can't offer any explanations for what has happened to the source content type (btw, can you still view existing source nodes?).

As a remedy, you might want to recreate the source content type. If you can get your hands on a vanilla ProsePoint 0.16 installation, you can try manually add the source content type back into your site by using the settings of the vanilla site. That's if you feel comfortable messing around with it. If not, you might like to consider getting someone technical-minded to give it a try or, as a last resort, send an email through the ProsePoint contact form and I can do it for a fee.
