How to Get Rid of Primary Menu in NavBar?

I plan to use SimpleMenu for my main menu. However, the default menu bar still appears. How do I remove the old menu bar? Thanks.

Hi,

Hmmm... your question is a bit ambigious but you could try visiting .../admin/build/menu/settings and then selecting No primary links for Source for the primary links, although I'm not sure if that's actually what you want.

When you say 'default menu bar still appears.', do you mean the black rectangle at the top of the page still appears, but there's no text on it?

I mean I have the Main Menu
I mean I have the Main Menu and the Nice Menus block both appearing in the navigation region. I only want the Nice Menus block to appear there.

Hi,

Try this. Visit .../admin/build/menu/settings on your site and select:

No primary links for Source for the primary links

and select:

No secondary links for Source for the secondary links

and see if that helps.
