Error Prosepoint alraedy installed

Hi, I have been able to reach till the 7th step of choosing prosepoint variant in setup, but after choosing any variant , instead of finishing the set up. it gives the message Prosepoint already installed, either you empty the database , or to install in different database make changes in settings.php, or to upgrade click on update script.
Pls advise

Thanks for ur reply. My database name, username, are correct and database exists that is why i was able to reach almost finishing of setup. Is there some specific name for database and username that i should stick to.
Althogh my set up proceess was interrupted 2-3 times because of pre requirement of clean url term for server, i set that right, but since then even if i delete the database and prosepoint from www directory , and make new copy of prosepoint in www directory again, make new database,but still i am getting this error prose point already installed at the last step of setup.

No, there is no special requirement for database names. Any usual name, username or password will work.
I'm sorry, but if ProsePoint is indicating it has already been installed, then it has found an existing database with some settings and data in it. This database, whatever it is, needs to be cleared out and emptied completely.
As an aside, do you get any error messages in your web server or PHP error logs?
Hi,
You should make sure your database name, username and password are correct and that the database exists.
After that, please clear out the database to make sure it is empty, and reinstall again from scratch.
