Channel Names to appear As section headings

Hi,

I have made a parent channel and under that i have 10 child channels, and i wanted these 10 channel names to appear on my frontpage as different section headings, which i succeeded by allocating chanel blocks to different zones of the layout,

But when any story is published is under these sections it appears as title link only, as is with  the default database site with Prose point installation, There are several stories with their titles but two channels Names appearing with stories with title link only, I tried to change the settings in dispaly field under headlines section, by setting to appear as teaser , but in that case i have two read more tags, one of the story teaser and other default appearing with channel block.

kindly help if i am working on correct path to achieve the desired result of having all 10 chanels name appearing as section headings, or there is a better way to do so.
