Release Notes

This is a security related update of ProsePoint, which also fixes a few minor bugs. Upgrading to this version of ProsePoint is recommended.

Security Update

This release of ProsePoint contains an update of an upstream component addressing the security vulnerability SA-2008-075 - Views - SQL Injection (http://drupal.org/node/348321).

Upgrading to ProsePoint 0.13

Please use the general ProsePoint upgrade procedure in the user guide to upgrade to ProsePoint 0.13.

If upgrading from 0.07-0.11 to 0.13, a full source code upgrade is required.

If upgrading from 0.12 to 0.13, a partial source code upgrade is sufficient (ie. you only need to change the source code under .../profiles). Furthermore, you do not need to run update.php.

Please do not upgrade directly to 0.13 from versions earlier than 0.07. You need to upgrade to an intermediate version first before upgrading to 0.13.

Further enabling ProsePoint to search

Hi, Thanks for this effort of yours. Just wished to give you another idea of module inclusion that I think will be great for ProsePoint-based projects. Add OpenSearch technology to the project. Some Drupal modules to do it:
  • OpenSearch Plugin module provides browser search integration via the OpenSearch plugin protocol. It adds a search addon for Firefox and IE7 to Drupal sites, much like those found at MyCroft or the IE7 Search Providers.
  • For more OpenSearch integration and server-side searching, see the OpenSearch Feed module adds OpenSearch feed creation capability to core search.module. Searches are exported as RSS 2.0 feeds at /opensearch/type/keywords and can be autodiscovered through OpenSearch Description XML. Works with all hook_search() searches (content, users, ...).
